Epson CX11N Toner Based Printer - Price Competitive Epson Color Laser Offers Impressive Features

Overview

The Epson AcuLaser CX11N is a small office multifunction device that offers color laser printing, scanning, and copying functionality. This model is feature packed with built in Ethernet connectivity and a software bundle that includes business card scanning and photo indexing and printing.

Features and Functionality

The AcuLaser CX11N is quite large compared to other models in its class. This device measures 18.1" (W) x 18.4"(D) x 23.3" (H) and weighs over 68 pounds. This being said, the printer is designed to centrally located in a work group environment and left in place.

The Epson Aculaser CX11N offers good printing and copying speeds. This model can output monochrome copies and prints at 25 pages per minute. Color copies and prints are slower at 5 pages per minute. Resolutions are consistent at 600 x 600 dpi. Text only documents and color presentations and charts printed out spectacular. Images were not quite as brilliant, but definitely good enough for an office environment.

This multifunction device uses four toner cartridges. The 4,000 page yield rated cartridges are: Cyan (S050189), Magenta (050188), Yellow (050187), and Black (050190). Compatible Epson toner and Epson branded OEM cartridges can be used in this printer.

The AcuLaser CX11N can be used with a MAC or Windows PC. Drivers are readily available for both operating systems. Ethernet network connectivity comes standard with this printer model.

An optional paper tray can increase the maximum media capacity of the Epson CX11N to 680 sheets. The optional 50 sheet ADF (automatic document feeder) can be used to add auto duplexing to this printer.
